Johannes Martinus de Wet, known as Marnus, is a South-African-born Australian based in the Newcastle / Hunter region of NSW.
He is a qualified boilermaker and sheet metal fabricator with approximately 18 years of experience across fabrication, structural steel, sheet metal, powder coating, industrial wet coating, maintenance, production management, operations management, business management, and process improvement.
Marnus also holds an Australian Advanced Diploma of Engineering and a Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership.
His background gives him a practical view of business systems. He has worked from the tools upward, through supervision and management, into workflow design, AI-assisted systems, automation, documentation, and business process improvement.
The Belief
Most business problems are flow problems.
Synergy AI Systems was created around a simple belief: information gets stuck, jobs get delayed, people chase answers, admin work gets repeated, drawings change, production shifts, managers lose visibility, staff rely on memory, and systems become too scattered to control.
Marnus focuses on mapping those problems clearly, then building practical workflows and tools that help remove them. He uses AI and software as tools, not as hype - depending on the job, that may include ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Automate, Excel, Python utilities, local AI concepts, website workflows, documentation systems, or custom prompt structures.
The goal is not to make businesses more complicated. The goal is to make work easier to see, easier to control, and easier to improve.
